All about Traces Boutique

Traces Boutique was born out of the passion and idea that you can look chic while also being sustainable. Traces strives to provide you a welcoming environment, impeccable customer service, and clothing that you can feel amazing wearing as they are both good for you and good for the environment.

Collectively Traces Boutique brings you over 30 years of boutique shopping experience to help you pick the perfect piece that will last in your closet and make you feel wonderful.

At our core, Traces is all about showing how you can care for our planet as well as being stylish.

"We don't need a million people doing sustainability perfectly. We need a million people doing sustainability imperfectly"

- Anne Marie Bonneau

Meet the Team

Tracy - The Face and the Money

Hi everyone! I am Tracy the face of Traces Boutique! I started Traces with a goal of bringing sustainable clothing to the mainstream as well as trying to avoid waking up at 4am every day. Still working on the second goal but the first is on a roll!

Some of my favorite things: coffee, purchasing socks for Traces when I should be paying attention to meetings, Princess Jasmine, snow, and sustainability.

Megan - The Social Media Guru

Hi my name’s Megan and I’m behind the lens and the computer at Traces Boutique. The posts, the videos, the groans coming from Tracy about taking pictures and videos, I’m behind most of that. I’ve worked retail for almost 30 years so love bringing my experience to a boutique like Traces. Ecology has always been an interest of mine since I was in ecology club at BHS. In fact it’s on my class ring. Traces marries two things I love, fashion and sustainability.

Cara - The Window Designer Extraordinaire

I’m Cara Donahoe, Creative Director at Traces Boutique, a sustainably focused shop where I design everything from window displays to in-store visuals.  I want to create a space that feels welcoming and reflects our eco-conscious values. Customers may catch me standing on chairs or window sills, hanging items from the ceilings or up the front store windows using everything from tree branches, paint cans and umbrellas which tends to make Tracy a little nervous. Every detail is thought out  to bring both style and sustainability, turning shopping into something more meaningful.
